Why Make them orphan?


Even today after almost 24 years I still recall the day with a heavy heart when I had to leave the new born baby wrapped in a blue soft towel in the lawns of the hanging garden in Mumbai, without being able to help despite my willingness. We had gone for a stroll when I saw a small baby and asked my husband to accept and adopt that child, on that my husband retorted, "what would you tell others especially my parents?" I had to drop the thought though with much indignation. He was absolutely right. I always wanted to foster many girls and train them in all the skills so that they never have to feel inferior or take a negative decision in desperation. In any country I don't think any mom would leave her baby like an orphan anywhere else but imagine under how much agony a woman has to take such a drastic decision and how much guilt she will carry lifelong for her mistake?

Had seen a movie where the mother of a grown up I.A.S. son feels bad on an occasion for her son left in a train for she could not accept her son being unmarried and ditched, still after almost 25 years her memories pained and pinched her ailing feelings as a mother. The relationship can not be compared with any other thing in the world. Why a mother has to leave her baby with a lump of guilt in her throat? Society never accepted anyone in sufferings yet we value this damn society. In our society we say of valuing ladies and moral values but in many a ways we behave against it too. For instance even in the Ramayan, Ram did the mistake of ill treating his wife for the society. Draupadi was humiliated in the full court by a wicked person.

Whenever a girl trusts a male beyond limit and falls head over heels in love such illegitimate babies come unexpectedly to be left in lurch! Why this urgency to have sex? If got daring then why leave the gift of motherhood in grimes? I say when a woman thinks of loving someone she should have the practicality to analyse the person then only step in bed. How one can make you conceive without your consent, and why on earth such an urgent desire to put a question mark on your very first bloom to be left in streets or orphanage? Isn't it your first duty as a woman to respect your womanhood? If a woman can't respect her own self respect, none would respect her for anything throughout as it's as essential as breathing and food.

I think self respect  in ladies must be at the highest limit to gain a name and also one should shudder at the slightest thought to disturb you as a human and especially a woman. Strength of character is the one thing which is in our hands and we must safeguard this treasure with whole heart be it on any cost we should not disgrace ourselves. In most of the cases girls are ditched due to their own follies. We can be on vigil in mingling with our counterparts, have a limitation in giving as well taking freedom. After you lose your "self" there is no point in lamenting or blaming. It's a foolishness to fall in bed then cry saying "conceived". None will sympathize with a wrong thing and yet our society has not become so much modern to accept unmarried moms openly. We may have accepted "Live in" relationships for our convenience and skip the bondage of compulsion still at heart we are in 18th century. Loving a girl and enjoying sex maybe a sweet thing but when it comes to marry the boy hides behind the screen to support his clean image and parents. Such a hypocrite we tend to change when it comes to favour a woman we loved or pretended to be in truly love!!

Love is all nonsense if you see the examples of girls weeping their hearts out. Why these girls are dying to eat in hotels and dress in a few gorgeous costumes presented to flatter in reality? If you have no self respect I say you are a dead person then why you ask for a life? Beg for accepting your love? Do not ever beg as LOVE is a god given gift and we have no rights to humiliate the divine feelings which are eternal. While I used to work in hospital under my nursing training I used to be aghast when girls would come to abort their very first baby being unmarried! I just wanted to slap and kick them for insulting the entire community indirectly! We can hear many a people comment , "nowadays girls have become moral less and low charactered" none would say the same of a boy. Without the boy and girl how a baby will come in the picture! Our society has always supported wrong doing males and on the contrary against woman. Am proud to be a woman but can I say this loudly? Not at all. the reason  a few of us give in to the temporary desires and weep for it for that too without anyone's knowledge! god has created a woman many times stronger than a male yet we surrender ourselves at their feet begging for life! doesn't this sound very LOW? We must know to maintain our dignity in the real sense and not to be in a shameful situation. Even if any male of our family loves a girl and she gets pregnant definitely we won't accept her. Everyone wants a good girl in their family. then why the girls degrade themselves for a few minutes pleasure that too with a constant fear on their mind. A look at a new born baby is enough to stir love in our heart but the illegitimate relationships when forced a girl to become a mother in desperation she has to drop the baby as a destitute and repent throughout her life! 
The child has none except the mother!

मौत से लड़ाई

आज लगभग 18  सालों के बाद भी याद आने से आंखें  नम हो जातीं हैं , दुनिया में इंसानियत लगभग ख़त्म हो चुकी है।  मेरे छोटे बेटे के प्रसव के लिए जब घर से अस्पताल निकली तब मुझे ज़रा सी भी उम्मीद नहीं थी लेकिन मेरे कमजोर स्वास्थ्य के बावजूद मैंने 12 घंटों के बाद पूरी तरह स्वस्थ राकेश को जन्म दिया। तीन दिनों के बाद उसकी आंखें थोड़ी पीली दिखने से मैंने डॉक्टर से देखने का अनुरोध किया जिस पर उन्होंने ध्यान ही नहीं दिया लेकिन पांच दिनों के बाद बच्चे को बचा सकने का आश्वासन भी देने में असमर्थता जाहिर की। मेरा डरना स्वाभाविक था लेकिन हिम्मत जुटाकर  मैंने जूझने का फैसला किया और दिन रात जागकर बच्चे पर पूरी नज़र रखी ताकि सचमुच ही मैं मेरे बेटे को न खो बैठूं। थोड़ी सी असावधानी भी मेरे नवजात के लिए जानलेवा साबित हो सकती थी इसलिए रात और दिन बिना सोये रखवाली करना मेरा डर सा बन चुका था। सिवाय डर कुछ भी मन में था ही नहीं। हर नज़र यही पूछती थी कि कब तक ये लड़ाई चलेगी मौत से ? मैं लेकिन सिर्फ भगवान से जान की भीख  मांगती रही और मेरी आशा निराशा में नह...

Attitudes Need Change

What is the definition of a relationship? Any type of involvement in two persons can be called as relationship. Since ages we have been fond of love stories. In almost every state one love story is famous and many hit films have been made. Watching these films shows our liking for love stories. We have become modern in every sense like dressing, food habits, living style and even rearing kids to a great extent but when it comes to marriage still we beat the age old drums adamantly. We genuinely appreciate someone next door for their broad attitude and inter-caste marriage, but when our children tell us or we somehow come to know their any such relationship, the immediate reaction is violent and rash without a second thought.
