Prostitution

So easily people comment on prostitution as if by birth they are in this profession. If our eyes can cross their smiling face we can see the pain behind. I have seen very closely the pain they keep buried inside. We see white as a pure colour but behind it are hidden red, green and blue like violent colours in a certain combination.

After marriage once I had gone to sea-shore and while enjoying the cool breeze felt lost, suddenly a pretty girl attracted my attention. She was inviting my husband in alluring style to spend time with her, I could not resist myself and observed her minutely. Wearing a loose attire she seemed to evoke desires in even a female than no need to tell about males.

My husband simply turned down her mood in a rough manner and she left the spot without the slightest trace of any emotion on her bright face. I asked my husband why he treated her so harshly and he replied that he hated them very much. It's such an easy thing to say but are they culprit? A male knowingly or unknowingly is behind their tears playing with them just to satisfy his lust for a few minutes or more and leave them in lurch to hide tears behind a thin veil of alluring smile.

Alas! If only they could get the real culprit by collar, certainly he would be a very decent person in society, ventring hiding from light his dirty face otherwise. If only these disguised bastards could realise what they do with so many innocent lives!!

Some people dare ask me openly, Isn't in Bombay prostitution very common? Red Light Area!! I say Yes, if you don't know, gather more information as its much better than entering from front door and getting out through backyard stealthily!! Their dirty intentions are so very evident when they try Hard to be Decent but in reality they are so Vulgar!!

From ages it has its root deep down in society yet we deny to accept openly. We love to be a Duplicate. Behind every gentle face a duplicate attitude person is hidden. We love to be frank but it hurts much in reality. We are fond of polished words far away from reality.

I never believed in caste maybe because in very young age when girls even can't take decisions on own I could see the dirty faces of many gentleman! People born in highly reputed environment get much freedom to play games being behind the screen and none dares to bring them out. One in ten is a culprit but women never support their own sisters with understanding in this critical area, maybe they lack daring..

If we visit a hospital we can see how many unmarried girls are cheated and wait to abort the most precious gift of God to us. Few may get good life but most of them opt a wrong route of disgrace and get labelled. They trust a person with whole heart and become a victim.

Though treated with disgust the wards of these too need education, treatment, love and care. They are forced to live filthy life but certainly even they won't like to see them following their footsteps. We have so many NGOs and Trusts actively involved in public welfare. At least the children need good atmosphere and education to come out and gain individuality. In our country I am sure huge amount of money is wasted on show off, decorations, unwanted expenses of marriages and grandeur of parties if calculated it can improve the lives of thousands of children who barely get even two squre meals a day.

At one side we clap on good views and at the other hand we ourselves not even bother to think of any help which can be of great value to the poor and destitutes. I remember reading one piece in Marathi "Hee pan aaplich manase" meaning even these belong to our family, when I studied in high school, it shattered me a lot and also helped shape me a helping mindset. I never hesitate or think when the need to help one comes across. Surely but I would love to extend a hand of help to these unfortunate kids who long to live a good life with stars in their eyes and a dry smile on lips. Alas!!if only we could broaden our minds and think practically..Our land has a record of people ahead of their times, why not we help in continuing that chain and become a link ourselves, It's a humble request to all who have a thumping heart!!
