Adoption
Education and job of girls is getting priority nowadays thus late marriage has become common, as a result delayed conceptions and related problems have turned attention towards test tube babies. The couples find it really tough to cope up with the expenses for getting a baby. Still people hesitate at the thought to adopt a baby, rather than waiting endlessly in agony it's much better option. Age, mental stress, quality time spent together and physical health count a lot. Frequent consumption of fast food, cool drinks, unhealthy food habits and lack of adequate rest have very important role in conception. Planning for many things like own home, better job, secured income etc take most of the quality time. Baby is not given adequate and timely importance and then remains frustration, disappointments, pain and worries.
This topic is so much painful that can not be expressed in words, till you do not have a baby. Though it is completely personal thing still people are so fond of knowing every detail that they just keep on asking that too in public openly!!
There is good hope, adoption, you can choose a baby of your choice and rear well. Without any complications adopting a baby is easy and a good deed. Most of the people wait but in this procedure get too late and to some extent lose hope too. In this lengthy procedure time, money and energy gets drained and only frustrations and disappointments remain. To really enjoy the growing stage of a child definitely we need time and emotional energy, with age there are possibilities of reducing sufficient time which is a must for any relationship.
On adoption many people argue that they can not love a baby as its not their blood. Being single is painful and embarrassing too, it creates much gap in the life partners as well, giving good life to a baby is not a bad idea at all. children are a blessing and boon, spreading beauty and happiness like flowers, why this thought?
I came across a couple who tried for a baby for almost 25 yrs, despite normal reports they failed to get a baby. In the end they brushed away all their hesitations and fears and went for test tube option. Nearly when the friend was 55 she gave birth to a healthy male child after spending almost 5 lacs! I think instead they should have opted adoption, their age now wont allow them to enjoy the growth of their baby as they lack stamina and also the future of the baby won't be secure.
In day-to-day life we don't get enough space for helping other children being fully occupied with our very own children and end up drained completely. Even some think they can't afford charity being middle class. Those who can easily afford do not have the intentions at all. We have seen the pains experienced by these less priviledged children in so many movies but in reality they experience much more and that too without others knowledge, silently.
Instead of making rounds for years for getting a child then in desperation adopting a baby, why not adopt willingly? After wasting precious time, hard earned money, frustrated due to unwanted stress and above all getting much older than parenting age if choosing adoption becomes last choice I think it won't be satisfactory at all, apart from that the child won't get proper care.
We follow many a things of western countries but in charitable activities we are far behind in comparison. Education makes a person wise but we tend to grow materialistic attitude than genuine. Let us hope to see a different outlook in the young generation.
